Tony Greenberg

As CEO of RampRate Sourcing Advisors, Taste and DeepStrat, Tony Greenberg has been an idea generator transforming perceptions and industries since he was 17.

Under Greenberg’s leadership for more than a decade, RampRate has radically changed how IT services are purchased, creating actionable, data-driven, sourcing information that has saved tens of millions of dollars and thousands of hours of headaches for major clients in entertainment, Internet services, finance, media and video games.

DeepStrat, a spinoff from RampRate’s strategic research arm, focuses on growth-advisory services for companies in the digital media value chain, particularly in mergers & acquisitions, ramp-ups and funding plans.

Taste is a startup designed to disrupt and transform the wine & spirits market, melding novel tools and respected industry voices with a deep database of information and social-media capabilities.

Greenberg is a charismatic and visionary speaker at technology, media and entertainment conferences and at colleges such as Harvard University and UCLA. His writing appears regularly in Huffington Post, Only Time Buys Trust and other outlets. He has been frequently quoted in outlets such as All Things D, Business Week, Wired, Computer World, Slashdot, and Ars Technica.  Greenberg is active in Tech Coast Angels and the Clinton Global Initiative.

Before founding RampRate, Greenberg headed the sales & marketing division of Raindance. He previously was SVP of business development and marketing for Digital Entertainment Network, and a senior executive at Exodus Communications (now Savvis). He also has experience in chain retailing, direct-response marketing, sales culture, business development and manufacturing through a series of other companies that he founded and later sold.

David Bloom

David consults on digital media, social media and communications strategy for technology, entertainment and lifestyle companies. He develops integrated strategies that knit together strong business development, social media tools and traditional media relations.

Previously, he was associate dean and chief communications officer for the USC Marshall School of Business, where he oversaw all communications, advertising and marketing in print, online and newsletters, Marshall TV productions and other venues. Previously, Bloom was vice president of corporate communications at movie studio MGM Inc. and was a member of the firm at crisis-communications boutique Sitrick and Company.

He spent 20 years as an award-winning journalist covering technology,  entertainment, business, politics and investigative projects at such prominent publications as Variety, Red Herring, the Los Angeles Daily News and Dallas Times Herald.

He is on the board of directors for Outpost for Contemporary Art, a Los Angeles non-profit dedicated to bringing together art and artists from around the world. He regularly speaks at technology and entertainment conferences and panels such as NATPE,  the Producers Guild’s Produced By events, Digital Hollywood, iHollywood Forums and the Digital Coast Roundtable.
